The Bourbon on the Banks Festival is a bourbon tasting event that takes place on a path along the historic banks of the Kentucky River at River View Park in Frankfort, Ky., and occurs annually on the first Saturday in October.
The upcoming festival is scheduled on Saturday, Oct. 7, 2023. Early access starts at 1 p.m., and general admission starts at 2 p.m. The event ends at 6 p.m.
What to Expect
Attendees will have the option to sample and explore a variety of whiskeys and experience demonstrations and educational discussions designed as enrichment opportunities for bourbon enthusiasts. The festival spotlights influencers in the bourbon industry, live performances from several musicians, fare by regional food vendors, and goods of bourbon-themed artisans. Along with 60+ distilleries, several breweries and wineries will be on site. Bottled spirits and wine will be available for purchase at the festival.
Individuals must be at least 21 years of age to attend the festival.

The Bryant C. Project consists of Bryant Carter on guitar, vocals and songwriting. Bryant’s unique style is a product of his environment, so diverse yet so familiar with the infusion of Rock, Soul and R&B.
We are a guitar and fiddle duo. We do mostly covers spanning from Bob Dylan, The Band, Tom Petty, Warren Zevon, Grateful Dead, Little Feat, Gillian Welch, Dave Rawlings, The Flying Burrito Brother, Hank Williams, George Jones, and many others (plus some originals for fun).
Todd Campbell is a talented singer-songwriter hailing from the picturesque region of Eastern Kentucky. ,Todd developed a deep passion for music at a young age. Drawing inspiration from the rich traditions of country music and the electrifying sounds of classic rock.
